MADISON, WI A proposed state law that would require convicted sex offenders in Wisconsin to display brightly colored license plates on their cars is one of three similar proposals across the country. Proponents in Wisconsin, Ohio and Alabama say the sex offender plates would be another tool to keep the public safe.
