CHARLESTON, WV - Every politician likes to be loved, and Gov. Joe Manchin got a lot of love Wednesday from a group of state employees who received hefty pay increases after the recent legislative session. More than 30 correctional officers and nonuniformed support staff from the Division of Corrections, the Division of Juvenile Services and the Regional Jail Authority held a short rally and lunch outside the Capitol to thank Manchin and legislative leaders for supporting their pay proposal.
