BRIDGETON, NJ - A 43-year-old former state corrections officer pleaded guilty to second-degree misconduct in Superior Court on Wednesday. Susan Ferarri, of Millville, waived her right to indictment by a grand jury, admitting during the summer of 2006 she smuggled contraband into Bayside State Prison, which she sold to inmates in exchange for cash.
