| Five hurt in Cook County jail fight |

CHICAGO, IL - A fight in a maximum security wing of Cook County Jail Thursday night left five inmates with stab wounds. It happened around 7:30 p.m. in a jail day room and involved as many as 12 inmates. Cook County sheriff's police spokesman Bill Cunningham says inmates used handmade knives, commonly called "shanks."
