| Jails receive money for generic drugs |

ORANGE COUNTY, CA - Four in-house pharmacies that dispense drugs to Orange County jail inmates, the homeless and working adults without insurance will receive $100,000 to pay for generic medicines. The Public Health Institute of Oakland is disbursing money from a 2004 state Attorney General settlement with Medco Health Solutions, which was accused of changing patients' prescriptions to inflate profits.
