$4M settlement for death of mentally ill inmate

CAMDEN, NJ - The family of Joel Seidel, a mentally ill inmate killed in the Camden County Jail on Jan. 27, 2004, will receive $4 million from the county to settle a wrongful death lawsuit, the "Courier-Post" learned this morning.

Under the terms of the settlement, Camden County denies any wrongdoing. County spokesman Ken Shuttleworth declined comment. Read more.
