SACRAMENTO, CA - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed a one-time top state corrections official Thursday as his new chief of health care for the state prison system. Robin Dezember, 64, replaces Peter Farber-Szekrenyi as the director of the Division of Correctional Health Care Services. Farber-Szekrenyi was forced by the Schwarzenegger administration to resign March 5 following a dispute with federal medical care receiver Robert Sillen over a specialty services contract. Read more.
