| Church burners head to prison |

BIRMINGHAM, AL - After the last of the court dates, the next step is prison for three Birmingham college students who last year went on a spree that ended with nine churches burned and their own lives in ashes. Two of the three, Matthew Cloyd and Benjamin Moseley, pleaded guilty Wednesday to burning Dancy First Baptist Church in Pickens County. Cloyd and Moseley set that fire and three others to try to confuse authorities investigating the five Bibb County church burnings the young men had carried out earlier with their friend, Russell DeBusk.
