FOND DU LAC, WI — A Fond du Lac man who made headlines a couple months ago after he claimed he was a "werewolf" will go to jail for six months. Robert Marsh, 40, a resident of the Fond du Lac County Jail, appeared before Fond du Lac County Circuit Judge Robert Wirtz this week and was sentenced on one count of criminal trespass to dwelling. Four other misdemeanor counts were dismissed. The charges stemmed from a March 1 incident in which Marsh broke through the deadbolt of a woman's apartment on W. Division Street around 3 a.m. and grabbed the woman's arm, according to the criminal complaint. Marsh had stayed at the woman's apartment in the days leading up to the incident. While he was there he drank, did not sleep and was often incoherent, according to the criminal complaint. He frightened the woman when he told her he was a werewolf, had powers and was involved in a witch religion, according to the complaint. |
