| Foster care program scrutinized |

PIERRE, SD - Corrections Secretary Tim Reisch is "reviewing all operational aspects" of the agency's foster care program following rape charges against a former legislator whose wife held a state contract for their Corson County home. Reisch's scrutiny into the program is in addition to a review by the state juvenile monitor that involves contacting each foster child currently in the DOC program as well as several individuals who had been in the program in the past, agency spokesman Michael Winder said.
