State COs earning higher pay

TUCSON, AZ - The state prison in Tucson had the third-highest vacancy rate for correctional officers two years ago. It now has the second lowest.

The Arizona Corrections Department says that's an example of a plan to increase officer wages compared with their counterparts at other prisons. Read more.
