WATERBURY, VT - An inmate at the Dale Correctional Facility, a women’s prison in Waterbury, was the victim of an alleged sexual assault Monday, Vermont State Police said today. Authorities could bring charges as early as Friday, state police spokesman Sgt. John Flannigan said. “It’s an active investigation,” he said. “It’s in the early stages.” Read more.
