GENAVA, IL - Police say a “sex offender notification” mailed out about a 53-year-old Geneva man this week was a hoax. “This appears on its surface to be a total fabrication on someone’s part,” said Geneva Police Commander Joe Frega said today, adding the letter was mailed to at least four homes.
