| Towns debate sex offender restrictions |

LITTLE CHUTE, WI — An ordinance that would prevent certain sex offenders from living in all but 10 percent of village land will soon be considered by village officials. But a state corrections official warned that passing the measure may not be in the community's best interest. "Wisconsin is 80 percent rural. There (are) places for them to live. We're not hosting them," said Fox Valley Metro Police Chief David Peterson outside of a Village Board meeting Wednesday where he introduced the measure. Read more.
