LEESPORT, PA - Berks County Prison will continue to allow inmates to subscribe to adult magazines for the present, though some prison officials said they want to end the practice. The county's Prison Board discussed adopting an adult magazine ban similar to that in state prisons but agreed in a closed meeting Wednesday to delay a decision. County Commissioner Judith L. Schwank and Sheriff Barry J. Jozwiak, both prison board members, said they hope the board will change the policy. "Regardless of the pending arbitration of the correctional officer, I will support implementing the policy used in the state correctional institutions," said District Attorney Mark C.
