Inmate with TB poses no danger

GADSDEN, FL - An inmate at the Gadsden Correctional Facility was diagnosed with tuberculosis, officials said Wednesday. The inmate, whose name was not released, is being treated at the Capital Regional Medical Center.

"This is one case that has been caught," said Robby Cunningham, spokesman for the Florida Department of Corrections. "This does not pose a danger to the public." Cunningham could not give the woman's age or how long she had been incarcerated. Read more.
