MONTPELIER, VT - Vermont prison officials say the chronic shortage of corrections officers has been reversed thanks to several policy changes. But not surprisingly the most important change could be this year's record salary hike. Friday morning 28 new corrections officers graduated as members of 91st class to graduate from the Vermont Corrections Training Academy. Read more.
