| Setback as Wellington prison head resigns |

NEW ZEALAND - A police unit set up to investigate incidents at Wellington's three prisons has suffered a big setback with the resignation of its lead officer. Detective Sergeant Murray Porter was appointed to lead the unit earlier this year in a bid to free up Upper Hutt's frontline police, tackle prison violence and drugs, and stop criminals visiting inmates.
