| Work clothes might change |

LOGAN COUNTY, KY - One area county is considering making its state inmates wear more identifiable clothing while working in the community. Logan County received a recommendation from Kentucky Association of Counties, which provides insurance to nearly every county in the state, that as a safety precaution, inmates working outside the jail should have clothing the public can readily identify as being inmates, said Logan County Judge-Executive Logan Chick. State prisoners who are sent to county jails for less serious, nonviolent crimes are allowed to work outside the jail. Read more.
