| Arizona prison transfers on hold |

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The New Castle Correctional Facility, the site of a riot involving out-of-state inmates in April, is back to normal operations but is not yet accepting new prisoners from Arizona. J. David Donahue, commissioner of the Indiana Department of Correction, said he is waiting for Arizona officials to make changes in the information inmates receive about being relocated to Indiana before new prisoners are accepted. As of Wednesday, Indiana housed 613 Arizona prisoners, 543 of them at New Castle and the remainder -- mostly inmates involved in the April riot -- at the maximum-security Wabash Valley Correctional Facility.
