| No MySpace for sex offenders |

LANSING, MI - Two hundred registered Michigan sex offenders were among 7,000 people kicked off the popular social-networking site MySpace.com, Attorney General Mike Cox said Thursday. Of the 200, 28 remained on probation or parole, including four who had been ordered not to use a computer. The discovery should be a cautionary tale for parents of young children and teens, Cox said. Cox turned three of the names over to the Michigan Department of Corrections for action, and his office took the fourth person, Edward Mitchell Mulak of Ferndale, to Wayne County Circuit Court on Thursday, where he was charged with violating his probation.
