DES MOINES, IA - Iowans will have an easier time keeping track of offenders under an online and phone system announced Wednesday by state Attorney General Tom Miller. The new system is intended to help crime victims learn immediately when an offender has been released, escaped, transferred or died. The effort, called IowaVINE, can be used by anyone.
