| Gang crackdown yields 17 arrests |

ACCORD, NY — Police swept up 17 people yesterday in a crackdown on a Bloods gang and its illegal drug network in the Ellenville area. Police used sealed indictments to grab 10 people and then squeezed enough information out of them to make more drug arrests in the process. Ironically, gang suspects contributed to the case against them by posting a video on the YouTube Internet site showing themselves in gang colors. One was holding a rifle. Read more.
