DES MOINES, IA - The state of Iowa has agreed to continue funding a decade-old Bible-based prison rehabilitation program for its final year of contract despite a federal court order that plans on shutting down the operation. InnerChange Freedom Initiative inmates take part in a structured, values-based curriculum that is based on the moral teachings found in the Bible and includes life skills training and educational studies.
