DARLINGTON, SC — Darlington County will house state inmates at the Darlington County Detention Facility. County council approved the designated facilities agreement between the county and South Carolina Department of Corrections. Although the county will receive money for each state inmate it houses each day, it will be responsible for any state inmate based on strict regulation in the agreement. Read more.
