Opinion - Don't sell prison land

MOBILE, AL - Legislators have done such a poor job of funding Alabama's prisons and other corrections programs that officials want to sell the farm to pay the bills. They shouldn't.

Prison officials asked legislators to increase funding next year by $100 million, but instead legislators cut funding by $30 million to $343.3 million. Read more.
