POCAHONTAS, VA - They don't officially start work until this fall, but more than 80 employees of a new prison in southwest Virginia are helping their community now. Officials at the new Pocahontas State Correctional Center say that 88 of the newly hired employees are volunteering across Tazewell County this week.Read more.
