BROOKLYN, NY - The state court complex at 320-330 Jay St. was evacuated during the lunch hour yesterday when a fire alarm went off on the third floor. It was a false alarm. There have been about a dozen false alarms in the new 32-story building, according to an unofficial source. They are often caused by defendants in the Department of Corrections’ holding pens who have discovered a way to set off the sprinkler system.
