| Computers needed for literacy effort |

BOCA RATON, FL - State Rep. Maria Sachs, D-Delray Beach, is spearheading a drive to collect computers for a Department of Corrections Pilot Literacy Program. It won’t cost taxpayers a dime, she said, and will actually help individuals and firms by giving them a tax deduction for donating the equipment. She already has 50 of them, from the city of Delray Beach, from the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce and from some individuals and law firms.
