LAKE COUNTY, IL - Lake County Sheriff Mark Curran unveiled a new ethics code for the sheriff's office Thursday, citing past problems as justification for the move. In the years leading up to Curran's election in November, an investigation by the Lake County State's Attorney's Office and the Illinois Attorney General's Office led to the resignation of former Undersheriff Gary Stryker.
