| Device might mean fewer inmates in jail |

FORREST COUNTY, PA - Forrest County's Board of Supervisors is considering the use of a high-tech device that could alleviate crowding at the Forrest County Jail. The county's efforts to build a new, larger jail have been stalled. Most recently, the board was unable to purchase a 35-acre parcel on Lakeview Drive after an environmental study indicated that the land, once the location of a brick factory, might not support a jail.
