MOUNT HOLLY, NJ — County government will begin distributing electronic monitoring bracelets to low-risk offenders as early as next week so they can leave jail but remain under house arrest, the Burlington County Board of Freeholders announced yesterday. The county will rent 30 bracelets at a cost of $4.50 a day each to relieve cramped conditions at Burlington County Jail and the Corrections Work Release Center/Minimum Security Facility in Pemberton Township without paying for new construction.
