PERKINS TOWNSHIP, OH - The Erie County Sheriff's Office will send its inmates to the Ottawa County Jail to relieve overcrowded conditions. Erie County commissioners Tom Ferrell, Nancy McKeen and Bill Monaghan approved a resolution to send up to 10 inmates to Ottawa County at a cost of $42.50 per prisoner per day for a year. Read more.
