LINDENHURST, NY - Instead of sitting in the Suffolk County jail in Riverhead, Frank Dusek spent yesterday picking up trash in Lindenhurst. "It's a little more civilized out here; you get to be outside," said Dusek, of Shirley, who received a sentence of 1 year after he was pulled over by police for his fourth DWI in July. He and a crew of inmates were wearing orange jumpsuits as they swept sidewalks and raked leaves at Village Square on Hoffman Avenue. Read more.
