IVES GROVE, WI - Looking to cash in on what might be a limited window of opportunity, the Racine County Board Tuesday took the first steps toward authorizing renting cell space in the recently expanded county jail. The board Tuesday held a first reading of a resolution that calls for allowing leasing space to the state Department of Corrections or other entities for up to 145 tenant inmates on the new third floor of the jail addition at the Law Enforcement Center in Racine.
