MONTGOMERY, AL - America Service Group Inc. (ASGR) on Thursday said its subsidiary, Prison Health Services, Inc., received a communication from the Alabama Department of Corrections or ADOC. The recent acknowledgment from the ADOC indicated that Prison Health Services has not been selected to enter into negotiations for a new inmate healthcare contract scheduled to start on November 1, 2007 due to a rebid process.
