FLORIDA - A Tampa bank robber who left his resume and picture at the crime scene will be spending time in federal prison. Court records say Etni Ortiz robbed a bank in Hillsborough County in December and dropped his resume when a bank dye pack exploded. Police also found a photo of the robber.

Ortiz is accused of robbing a second bank in Sarasota a week later.

He was later arrested in St. Lucie County driving a stolen SUV. In the car, police found a cap they say he used during a robbery, a note detailing a robbery attempt and a suitcase with money.

Ortiz pleaded guilty in May to two counts of bank robbery and one count of transporting a stolen vehicle. He was sentenced yesterday to eight and a half years in federal prison and three years of probation, to be served consecutively.
