Alabama escaped inmates captured |

Two inmates are back behind bars after breaking out of jail. Now authorities are trying to figure out where they got the tools they used to escape. The inmates were housed inside the "Dome" facility in Franklin County, Alabama. It's one normally used for minimum security inmates, or ones who aren't held on violent offenses. Deputies say Chris Williford and Ronald Hayes used smuggled tools to "work" their way out through the dome's air-conditioning unit last Saturday night. Then they cut a hole in the chain-link fence. The inmates weren't on the loose for long. Both were arrested within the city limits within 16 hours of their escape. |
