DETROIT, MI - After years of hearing horror stories about overcrowding and early releases at the Muskegon County Jail, voters are finally going to get the chance to address those issues next year. On Tuesday, Muskegon County commissioners formally adopted a "plan of action" to complete their mission to build a new $24 million county jail and juvenile detention facility in the same proximity, somewhere in downtown Muskegon.
