GREENWOOD, AR — The Sebastian County Quorum Court approved raises for two Juvenile Detention Center teachers and a teacher’s aide Tuesday — a total annual increase of $36,275. But the 9-4 vote didn’t come easily. Justices of the Peace Phil Hicks, Shawn Looper, Warren Holcomb and Jake Patterson voted “no.” JPs Don Carter, Lisa Sellers, Tom Craft, Pierce Farris, Bob Schwartz, Ray Stewart, Jack Freeze, Leo Faulkner and Jim Perry voted “yes.” Read more.
