| Four jail illnesses not related |

AUSTIN, TX - Illnesses that recently struck four former inmates at the county jail are not related, a state health official says. Dr. Sandra Guerra-Cantu, Texas Department of State Health Services Region 8 Health Director and the state health authority for Val Verde County, Thursday discussed preliminary findings of a group of state and federal medical investigators who have been examining the illnesses for about a week.
