BERLIN, NH - Lorraine Duchesne knows how to run an office. Accounts payable, accounts receivable, figuring payroll, answering phones and a dozen other ways to keep a business running smoothly are among her many skills. "I know all the contractors in the area and I can speak French,'' said Duchesne, who lives in Dummer and was looking to see what opportunities may open up as construction begins on one of the state's largest public works projects in history. She was among 350 people who turned out Saturday for a job fair in the city, held for the purpose of lining up workers for the projected 37-month, $230 million construction project for the 1,280-bed federal prison.
