CHAMBERSBURG, PA - Franklin County Jail's correctional officers worked about 5,977 overtime hours during a 90-day period from May 15 to Aug. 15, and collected one-and-a-half times their pay for the work. Public Opinion was required to file a written request for the overtime information, and learned as a result that the hours were for straight work, training and extra duties assigned to some correctional officers.
