Growing population results in new position

IOWA - A growing population in Dakota County’s jail is forcing officials to appoint a jail administrator.

The jail is currently run by a sheriff's deputy who, in the past, has balanced two jobs which the county board of corrections says has become too overwhelming. Over the years, the jail has gone from housing 20 inmates to 120. Read more.
