| CCA expands in Mississippi |

MISSISSIPPI - Nashville-based Corrections Corp. of America has started construction on the $105 million Adams County Correctional Center in Adams County, Miss. It is CCA's (NYSE: CXW) fourth facility in Mississippi and the company's 66th nationwide. The new prison will create an estimated 300 new full-time jobs, 1,668-beds for federal inmates, between 200 and 400 construction-related jobs also will be created and increase the company's employment base in Mississippi to nearly 1,000.
