NEW JERSEY - State Sen. Nick Asselta has received endorsements for re-election in the First District from unions representing supervising officers at state prisons. The New Jersey Law Enforcement Supervisors Association (NJLESA), the Superior Officers Association (SOA) and the Superior Officers Association Captain's Unit (SOA-CU), representing sergeants, lieutenants and captains respectively, have all given their endorsements to the Republican senator, according to Steve Brzdek, NJLESA executive vice president.
