NEW HAMPSHIRE – Four New Hampshire Department of Corrections employees have raised $8,800 for multiple sclerosis research. The “D-Terminators” team completed a fifty mile walking course to raise the money along with 700 other participants. The Multiple Sclerosis Challenge Walk took place from September 7 to 9, 2007 and raised a total of $1.3 million. Probation and Parole Officers Jeffrey A. Shanahan, Dawn Lennon, and Christopher D. Regan of the Exeter District Probation and Parole Office, and James M. Moran of the Concord District Office participated in the walk. “I think this was a great example of DOC employees participating in an event that affects the lives of so many people,” says Shanahan. The D-Terminators are recruiting a team for next year to raise even more money. |
