CALIFORNIA - The Schwarzenegger administration imposed a new contract on the union representing more than 30,000 state [corrections officers] Wednesday, hours after the union's leadership failed to extend its current work agreement through legislation. The administration's final contract offer will send the bitter labor fight back to state lawmakers.
