| Warden vows to crack down on gangs |

CANADA - Aboriginal gangs at Edmonton's maximum security prison have gained far too much power and that needs to change, warden Ron Boutin says. A fight between two gangs, which occurred at the Edmonton Institution on Sept. 5 and left five inmates seriously injured, simply illustrates the need to tackle the growing problem, Boutin told CBC News in a recent interview.
