OHIO - Kenton County Judge-executive Ralph Drees has received approval from the Fiscal Court to begin negotiations on possibly purchasing a 19-acre site off Mary Laidley Drive in southern Covington for the proposed county jail. Drees will seek a 180-day option to purchase the property, which is situated behind the Kenton County Animal Shelter. Read more.
